Why I Started This Blog

As a licensed esthetician and country-loving soul, I wanted to create more than just a facial studio — I wanted a peaceful refuge where women could feel restored, seen, and truly cared for.

That’s how Katie’s Ranchette & Day Spa was born — a cozy, home-based facial studio nestled on my 3-acre ranch in Northwest Bakersfield. It’s a space where you can take a deep breath, slow down, and leave with glowing skin and a full heart.

I’m a Bakersfield native, a recent beauty school grad, a dog mama to my Toy Aussie named Trixie and my Chi Spaniel named Lady, and a believer in the healing power of peaceful routines. I offer facials on nights and weekends for now, and I absolutely love helping women feel confident in their own skin.
